REGISTRATION PROCESS: 
Entries will be accepted on a first come-first served basis until the space is filled. Two teams per club per age division will be accepted into the tournament until the division is filled or January 20th, 2012, whichever comes first. After January 20th, acceptance is at the tournament's discretion. All entry applications must be completed on-line in Sign Up To Play.

ENTRY FEES
All girl's divisions $695.  All boy's divisions $450.

HOW TO PAY BY CHECK:  
Print an Entry Application Form from the STP web page, sign the form and mail it to us with your entry fee (the STP program will show you how much you owe). Your Date of Receipt will be the time we receive both your check AND STP entry form in our office

Send the signed STP Entry Application Form and the payment to:

ONE CHECK PER CLUB, please.  We do NOT want separate checks for each team.

When we have your on-line payment or your SIGNED Entry Application form and check and your hotel reservations at an approved hotel, we'll email you a confirmation that your application is complete. We will make every attempt to notify you within two business days of receiving the information and documents noted above.

To receive notices from us, you MUST have a working email address in the STP program at all times. If you change your email address, you must edit that information in your own account - we cannot update or change it for you.

REFUND POLICY:
If a team is denied entry because the field is filled, the team may cancel its application and receive a full refund of its entry fee, OR may elect to go on a Waiting List.

If a team decides to drop out after the Application for Entry and the Entry Fees are processed by the CHC staff, regardless of when the drop occurs, there will be no refund.

A team on the Waiting List may drop out at any time and obtain a full refund of its entry fee. 

ACCEPTANCE INTO CHC: 
Acceptance for all divisions is first-come, first-served determined by the Date of Receipt, which is the time we receive your payment, STP entry form and notice of confirmed hotel reservations in our office, until available space is filled or January 20th, 2012, whichever comes first.  After January 20th, teams may be accepted into the event at the discretion of the tournament director. 

Teams must maintain a confirmed hotel reservation at an event approved hotel which meets the minimum room night requirement in order to maintain their accepted status into the event.  Please read the Stay and Play FAQs, as well as all information posted on our hotels for complete details.

PLEASE NOTE: Having pre-purchased airline tickets is not a criteria for acceptance into the tournament. We strongly advise you to refrain from making non-refundable commitments for travel until you know you are accepted.

ACCEPTANCE OF OUT-OF-AGE-DIVISION TEAMS:
CHC will make every effort to place teams in a division in which they wish to play. Those request will be handled in the following manner:
Teams wishing to play in an out-of-age CLUB division – The Acceptance procedure outlined above will apply to these teams.
Teams wishing to play in an out-of-age OPEN division – These teams will be placed on a Wait List until the deadline of January 20, 2012. Once the deadline has passed, teams requesting to play in an OPEN division higher than their age bracket will be accepted should space be available. If a team is not accepted due to space in the requested division being filled, a refund of the full entry fee will be issued. If a team accepts a position into it’s appropriate age division AND ALSO goes on the wait list for a higher age division, no refund will be issued if the move to the higher division is not possible and the team decides to drop from the event.

ENTRY ACCEPTANCE DISPLAY:
If you are wondering if your team is accepted into the Capitol Hill Volleyball Classic, log on to your Sign Up To Play account, and click on "ENTER EVENTS." 
There you will see your teams listed for Capitol Hill Volleyball Classic, with three columns beside each team - DIV., PAID, and ACCEPTED.

This will tell you what division you are entered into and whether you are "Paid and Accepted." If you are Paid and Accepted, you are good to go!
